According to sources, the head coach of UNC and the former cheerleader have had discussions about tying the knot, and it is “not out of the question.” The couple is also said to be planning to sign a prenup if they decide to proceed.
There is no immediate pressure for a proposal, as Hudson is reportedly not rushing Belichick and believes that if it is meant to happen, it will occur in due time. The two first met on a flight to Boston in 2021 and quickly connected. Hudson recently celebrated their “meetiversary,” recalling how Belichick signed one of her college textbooks during the flight, writing, “Jordon, Thanks for giving me a course on logic! Safe travels!” dated February 11, 2021.
The couple was publicly linked last year, three years after their initial meeting, and their relationship appears to have grown more serious following Belichick’s breakup with Linda Holliday in 2022. Belichick was seen supporting Hudson at a cheer competition last year, and she attended Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony shortly before their relationship became public.
The 48-year age gap has been a topic of humor, with Snoop Dogg joking about it during the NFL Honors, saying, “Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet.” At the event, Belichick showcased all eight of his Super Bowl rings, while Hudson wore a national championship ring she earned in 2021 for cheerleading. At the recent Super Bowl, Hudson sported a customized jacket featuring the logos of the six Super Bowls Belichick won with the Patriots.
