Instead of airing a traditional advertisement during the event, he is launching a unique promotional campaign.

This initiative, titled ‘Perplexity’s Million Dollar Question,’ aims to boost downloads and engagement with the start-up’s AI chatbot. The campaign invites participants to engage with the app during the Super Bowl. Here’s how it works, who can join, and how to take part.

Srinivas shared details on LinkedIn, stating: “There will be no Perplexity Super Bowl ad. Instead, there’s a Super Bowl contest. You install the app (if you haven’t already), and ask at least five questions on the app during the game. We will select one winner to receive $1 million. Ask like a millionaire.” He also provided a link for further details.

As for the prizes in the Perplexity campaign, the official details indicate that one grand prize will be awarded to the first eligible participant selected from all entries in the sweepstakes. The grand prize consists of a cash award of $1,000,000.
