**Fractal Analytics Embraces Agentic AI for Enhanced Revenue Generation**
Fractal Analytics is making significant strides in the realm of agentic AI, with its Cogentiq platform already contributing to revenue. The company anticipates a rise in the adoption of these systems, which are expected to play a crucial role in revenue growth. Co-founder Srikanth Velamakanni revealed that Fractal is currently developing two agentic AI projects, marking a first for the organization, with one already generating income. “Our goal is to implement agentic AI systems to enhance enterprise productivity, refine decision-making accuracy, and elevate customer experience,” Velamakanni stated.
Agentic AI represents a cutting-edge technology within artificial intelligence, integrating large language models, machine learning, and natural language processing to autonomously perform tasks with minimal human oversight. According to Gartner, the adoption of enterprise applications featuring built-in agentic systems was only 1% in 2024, but this figure is projected to rise to 33% by 2028.
Fractal’s transition towards agentic AI systems signifies a pivotal change in its revenue generation approach. “All of Fractal’s revenues stem from developing AI systems that facilitate decision-making. We anticipate that many of these will evolve into agentic systems soon,” Velamakanni noted.
The company’s active agentic AI initiative, Cogentiq, is designed to analyze a company’s data and provide insights to support decision-making and execution. “We are establishing a marketplace of agents that can collaborate or be utilized for various problem-solving tasks for our clients,” Velamakanni explained. The licensing of the Cogentiq platform is expected to account for 20% of Fractal’s future revenue, having already generated $5 million in FY25. In FY24, Fractal allocated approximately 7% of its revenue to R&D, concentrating on generative AI, quantum algorithms, and computational neuroscience.
Another project in development is ‘Project Pioneer,’ an agentic AI system aimed at facilitating software development and data science tasks with minimal human involvement. “Once the project scope is defined, the system autonomously manages the rest, breaking it down into various roles, each executing its specific task,” Velamakanni added, noting that the initial results are promising. Although Project Pioneer is not yet available, Fractal plans to launch it in the coming weeks.
In terms of financial performance, Fractal reported a consolidated revenue of ₹2,196 crore for the last financial year, reflecting a 10.6% increase from ₹1,985 crore in FY23.
