Executives point out that the burgeoning demand for reskilling initiatives in Indian corporates is largely driven by the early stages of skilling. A report titled “Skills for the Future: Transforming India’s Workforce Landscape,” developed by the Institute for Competitiveness, indicates that data analysis shows that in 2023-24, 88% of India’s workforce is classified as having low competency.
