Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has announced the appointment of Vandana Suri as the new Executive Director for Home Care, effective January 1, 2026. She will succeed Srinandan Sundaram, who is set to take on the role of CEO at Unilever International. This decision was made following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and was approved by the Board of Directors through a Circular Resolution dated December 1, 2025.

Vandana Suri, currently serving as the General Manager of Beauty & Wellbeing at Unilever Indonesia, brings a wealth of experience to her new role. With over 20 years in brand building and category leadership, she has previously worked with renowned multinational companies such as PepsiCo, Tetra Pak, and Nielsen before joining HUL in 2011. Throughout her career at HUL, she has successfully managed various businesses across India, South Asia, and Indonesia, including a notable tenure overseeing the premium laundry portfolio, which saw consistent growth.

As Vice President of Skin Care & Colour Cosmetics within the Beauty & Wellbeing division, Vandana implemented a premiumization strategy that targeted high-growth segments in the skincare market. In related news, Hindustan Unilever reported a 3.6% increase in consolidated net profit for Q2 FY26, reaching ₹2,685 crore, up from ₹2,591 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations also saw a rise of 1.5%, totaling ₹16,388 crore compared to ₹16,145 crore in the previous year. The company attributed the increase in Profit After Tax, which rose by 4%, to a one-time beneficial effect from the resolution of past tax issues between the UK and Indian tax authorities. Additionally, the quarter’s performance was impacted by temporary effects from GST changes and extended monsoon conditions in certain regions.
