**IndiGo Q3 Results: Profit Declines Amid Revenue Growth**
InterGlobe Aviation announced on January 24 that its net profit for the December quarter fell by 18.32% year-on-year to ₹2,448.8 crore, down from ₹2,998.1 crore in the same period last year. The company had reported a loss of ₹986.7 crore in Q2FY25. However, consolidated revenue from operations increased by 13.7% year-on-year, reaching ₹22,110.7 crore, up from ₹19,452.1 crore.
Pieter Elbers, CEO of IndiGo, stated, “We delivered a strong third quarter for financial year 2025, both operationally and financially. Our total income reached ₹230 billion, reflecting a growth of 15%, with a profit of ₹38.5 billion excluding currency impacts. Including currency effects, our profit stood at ₹24.5 billion, showcasing the effective execution of our well-defined strategy.” He attributed these results to robust market demand and the company’s ability to meet that demand, aided by lower fuel prices. IndiGo achieved new milestones, operating a peak of 2,200 daily flights and serving a record 31.1 million passengers during the quarter.
