American football star Travis Kelce has commended his girlfriend Taylor Swift for her incredible work ethic, noting that her record-breaking Eras Tour took a significant toll on her physically and mentally. Ahead of the Super Bowl, Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, shared his insights on Swift’s commitment to her art when questioned by reporters.
“What I witnessed during the Eras Tour last year was truly impressive,” Kelce remarked. “Seeing her travel from one country to another week after week, it was excruciating for her body and mind. It wasn’t just her; it was the entire team involved—dancers, band members, singers—everyone played a part. It was an absolute machine, and I admire it immensely. I think about it all the time.”
Swift’s Eras Tour, which spanned five continents, became the highest-grossing tour in history and the second most attended, captivating 10.1 million fans globally. The singer performed 149 shows, each lasting around three hours, featuring numerous costume changes and a setlist of over 40 songs.
Kelce, who has been in a relationship with Swift since September 2023, attended several of her shows and even surprised fans by joining her on stage at Wembley Arena in London.
As the Chiefs gear up to face the Philadelphia Eagles in pursuit of a third consecutive Super Bowl title, Kelce’s romantic life has garnered significant attention. When asked about Swift’s team allegiance, he suggested that this year she would be “wearing red,” referring to the Chiefs’ colors, despite her father’s support for the Eagles.
Kelce also addressed speculation regarding a potential engagement ring for Swift, humorously deflecting the question by saying, “A Super Bowl ring? Next question.”
Swift has become a familiar presence at Chiefs games, most recently seen cheering for Kelce and his teammates during their AFC Championship victory over the Bills, where she celebrated on the field with him amidst falling confetti.
