A man received only one laddoo at a government Independence Day event, prompting him to call the Chief Minister’s helpline.

**Villager Complains to CM Helpline Over Laddoo Distribution in Madhya Pradesh**

In a peculiar incident in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind district, a villager named Kamlesh Kushwaha reached out to the Chief Minister’s Helpline to voice his dissatisfaction regarding the distribution of sweets during the Independence Day celebrations. The event took place on August 15 in Naudha village, where a flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the Gram Panchayat Bhavan, attended by local officials and villagers.

After the flag was hoisted, the distribution of laddoos commenced, overseen by Peon Dharmendra. When Kamlesh approached for his share, he was given only one laddoo instead of the two he expected. Despite his insistence on receiving an additional sweet, Dharmendra declined his request, prompting Kamlesh to call the Chief Minister’s Helpline to report the issue. In his complaint, he stated that the Gram Panchayat was not distributing laddoos as expected after the Independence Day program and sought action on the matter.

In an interview, Kamlesh explained, “The Gram Panchayat Bhavan did not distribute laddoos after the flag hoisting. While a few individuals inside received sweets, those of us outside were left empty-handed. I called the CM Helpline to clarify whether laddoos are typically distributed on Independence Day, as I did not receive mine.”

Panchayat Secretary Ravindra Srivastava confirmed the events, noting that Kamlesh was indeed outside the Panchayat Bhavan when the laddoos were distributed. He acknowledged that Kamlesh’s request for two sweets was denied, leading to the complaint. Srivastava also mentioned that Kamlesh has a history of filing complaints through the CM Helpline, having lodged numerous grievances across various departments.

To resolve the situation amicably, the secretary stated, “I will purchase 1 kg of laddoos, apologize to him, and attempt to pacify the matter.”

This incident highlights the importance of community engagement and the expectations surrounding public celebrations, as well as the avenues available for citizens to voice their concerns.
