After nearly five decades without a role in the NFL, Bill Belichick made a statement at the NFL Honors by showcasing all eight of his Super Bowl rings. Accompanying him was his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, who also displayed some impressive jewelry. Initially, it was believed that Hudson was wearing one of Belichick’s rings, which he earned during his time as head coach of the Patriots and as a defensive coordinator for the Giants.
However, Belichick was indeed wearing all eight of his rings, while Hudson clarified that the ring she wore was her national championship ring from her time with the Bridgewater State University cheerleading team. She was part of the 2021 squad that won the title, and the team has also claimed national championships in 2011, 2014, 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Hudson explained her choice of a silver dress, stating, “I chose this gown because it is reminiscent of a Lombardi Trophy.” The couple attended the NFL Honors in New Orleans, just two months after Belichick accepted the head coaching position at North Carolina.
Belichick, 72, and the 24-year-old Hudson were first publicly linked last year, three years after they met on a flight to Boston. Hudson was present at Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony in June, shortly before news of her relationship with Belichick emerged. The significant age difference of 48 years became a topic of humor during the event, with Snoop Dogg joking, “Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet.
