NEW ORLEANS – As Penn State standout and top NFL Draft prospect Tyler Warren gears up for his professional career in the coming months, he is excited to witness two of the league’s premier tight ends compete for glory on the grandest stage. In an interview ahead of Super Bowl LIX, Warren shared his insights on veteran tight ends Travis Kelce and Dallas Goedert, highlighting their influence on the game and the increasing value of the tight end position.

Warren praised Kelce’s exceptional ability to consistently find open space, stating, “He knows what he does well, and he keeps doing that. It’s not about looking a certain way; it’s about executing what works for you.” He commended Kelce’s longevity and elite performance, noting, “To maintain this level of excellence as a receiving tight end for such an extended period is truly impressive. It reflects his dedication to his craft and his approach to each game.”

Warren also lauded Goedert’s physicality and versatility, recalling a memorable moment when Goedert delivered a powerful stiff-arm against Packers cornerback Carrington Valentine, leading to a 24-yard touchdown in the Eagles’ Wild-Card Round victory over Green Bay. “It’s been fantastic to watch,” Warren remarked. “Tight ends are experiencing a surge in usage and value, which is exciting to see.”

With the NFL Draft approaching, Warren hopes the rising prominence of tight ends will benefit his prospects, as he is projected to be a first-round selection. He had an outstanding season at Penn State, earning the John Mackey Award as the nation’s top tight end. Warren concluded the season with 104 receptions for 1,233 yards and eight touchdowns, along with 218 rushing yards and four touchdowns.

Drawing comparisons to elite NFL tight ends like George Kittle and Rob Gronkowski, Warren is committed to his health and fitness journey, partnering with Planet Fitness in preparation for the draft. “Whether you’re a seasoned gym-goer or it’s your first day, there’s always a welcoming environment,” he shared.

As Warren looks ahead to the 2025 NFL Draft on April 24, he remains focused on his goals while celebrating the achievements of his fellow tight ends in the league.
