A trans activist proposes merging the Olympics and Paralympics to establish a gender-neutral competition.

Trans activist Blossom Brown gained significant attention this week after advocating for the upcoming Summer Olympics in Los Angeles to be “absolutely” gender-neutral. Brown argued that there should be no barriers preventing Olympians and Paralympians from competing against each other. These remarks were made during a spirited discussion with former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” where they debated President Donald Trump’s recent executive order that effectively prohibits transgender athletes from participating in girls’ and women’s sports.

During the debate, Morgan pressed Brown on the rationale behind the separation of men and women in Olympic sports. Brown responded, “Here’s the thing, I’m not an Olympian. I don’t play sports. I think what you’re saying is conservative propaganda. When we talk about trans people, we’re talking about gender identity. We’re not just focused on sex.” When asked again if the Olympics should adopt a gender-neutral approach, Brown affirmed, “Absolutely, I don’t see anything wrong with it.”

Gaines, who hosts OutKick’s “Gaines for Girls” podcast, defended Trump’s executive order, emphasizing the need for fairness in women’s sports. She stated, “Because men and women are different. We have different physical ceilings. It’s the same reason you have any category. It’s the same reason we have the Paralympics versus the Olympics. It’s the same reason we have weight classes in boxing. We don’t have weight classes in boxing because we are fat-shaming people who weigh more. No – we have weight classes because it would be unfair. We know the outcome.”

Gaines later posed the question of whether Olympians and Paralympians should compete together. Brown replied, “I mean, why not?”

Brown’s comments come in the wake of Trump signing an executive order directing federal agencies to review grants, programs, and policies that do not align with the administration’s goal of ending “male competitive participation in women’s sports … as a matter of safety, fairness, dignity, and truth.” The order also mandates strict enforcement of Title IX against educational institutions or athletic associations that fail to comply, threatening to withdraw federal assistance in such cases. Some states have already expressed their reluctance to adhere to the federal law.
