Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, has unveiled a significant skill and employment initiative in collaboration with ITE Education Services (ITEES) from Singapore. “I am thrilled to announce one of India’s largest Skill & Employment initiatives! In partnership with Singapore’s ITEES, a global leader in technical training, the Adani Group is establishing the world’s largest finishing school in Mundra. This cutting-edge facility will integrate AI-driven immersive learning with innovative centers, aiming to train over 25,000 learners annually to support the Make in India movement,” Adani shared on X.
The Adani Group’s partnership with ITEES will focus on creating ‘schools of excellence’ tailored to meet the demands of industries such as Green Energy, Manufacturing, Hi-tech, Project Excellence, and Industrial Design. The Adani family has committed over ₹2,000 crore to this initiative. These institutions will be named Adani Global Skills Academy and will target students from technical and vocational education backgrounds in India that align with industry needs.
Upon certification in their respective fields, students will be offered opportunities within the Adani Group and the broader industry, based on their training and roles. The program aims to produce professionals who are “first-day, first-hour industry ready and benchmarked to global standards of excellence,” according to a statement from the Adani Group.
In the initial phase, the world’s largest finishing school for technical training will be set up in Mundra, Gujarat, with the goal of skilling over 25,000 students each year for various roles. Fresh graduates and diploma holders with vocational and technical qualifications from ITIs or Polytechnics will be eligible for an intensive boot camp experience at these schools. ITEES Singapore will act as the knowledge partner for this initiative.
Previously, Gautam Adani announced a donation of ₹10,000 crore for various social causes, including infrastructure development in healthcare, education, and skill development, during his son Jeet Adani’s wedding. Additionally, he plans to contribute ₹6,000 crore to establish two integrated health campuses, Adani Health Cities (AHCs), in Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
