Nominees such as Demi Moore, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Adrien Brody, Timothée Chalamet, and Ralph Fiennes gathered for the Academy Awards’ annual class photo in Los Angeles, just days before the ceremony on Sunday.
“Everyone say Oscar nominee!” The 2025 Oscars class, mostly all smiles, posed for their traditional group photo. This event typically occurs weeks prior to the ceremony but was postponed earlier this year due to wildfires in Los Angeles.
The gathering provided an opportunity for first-time nominees and emerging talent to connect with established stars and award veterans. Among the attendees were Demi Moore, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Adrien Brody, Timothée Chalamet, and Ralph Fiennes. The evening also featured an Oscars dinner and a pre-red carpet event.
Best actress nominee Cynthia Erivo assisted fellow nominee Demi Moore with her outfit and caught up with Ralph Fiennes, who is nominated for his role in “Conclave.” One of the nominated films, “Sing Sing,” depicts the lives of men in a maximum-security prison in New York, featuring Colman Domingo and Clarence Maclin.
Ariana Grande, nominated for best supporting actress for her role in “Wicked,” was present, along with Zoe Saldana, who is also nominated in the same category. Notably absent was Karla Sofia Gascon, a best actress nominee for “Emilia Perez,” following controversy over her past tweets.
The two frontrunners for the best actor award are Adrien Brody for “The Brutalist” and Timothée Chalamet for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in “A Complete Unknown.”
The Oscars ceremony is set to take place on Sunday night.
