**Tamil Nadu Governance Stands Apart from Bihar, Says DMK Minister**

In a recent statement, DMK Minister Durai Murugan emphasized that Tamil Nadu’s governance is distinct from that of Bihar, particularly in the context of special internal reservations (SIR). He asserted that Tamil Nadu is a state with a high level of awareness and is effectively led by Chief Minister MK Stalin. “On the SIR issue, Tamil Nadu is not Bihar. Tamil Nadu is an aware state. The governance there is different from here. Tamil Nadu is administered by our leader. This will not happen in Tamil Nadu or under its Chief Minister,” he remarked.

Additionally, DMK leader A Raja addressed concerns regarding voter registration, revealing that measures have been initiated with the Election Commission of India to eliminate duplicate voters. He pointed out that some individuals listed on the electoral rolls in Tamil Nadu are already registered in Bihar, and these cases need to be rectified. Raja clarified that while individuals are free to travel anywhere in India as per the Constitution, “a person with a vote in Bihar should not be permitted here,” stressing the importance of preventing duplication.

On August 29, Chief Minister Stalin also highlighted the need for increased public awareness regarding the SIR issue. He participated in the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ organized by Rahul Gandhi in Bihar to engage with voters. “To prevent this from happening in Tamil Nadu, we are trying our best,” he stated, underscoring the urgency of the matter.

In conclusion, the DMK leadership is actively working to ensure that Tamil Nadu’s governance remains distinct and effective, while also addressing electoral integrity through collaboration with the Election Commission.
