Bill Belichick is one of the few football figures with an abundance of Super Bowl rings, boasting eight in total—six as the head coach of the New England Patriots and two as the defensive coordinator for the New York Giants. After taking a break from the NFL during the 2024 season, marking his first time away from coaching in nearly fifty years, Belichick made an appearance at the NFL Honors event.
Just two months after being appointed head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels, Belichick took the opportunity to remind everyone of his legendary status by showcasing his Super Bowl rings on his right hand. He also gifted one of his rings to his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, to wear during the event.
Belichick and Hudson, a 24-year-old former cheerleader, were first publicly linked last year, three years after they met on a flight to Boston. Hudson attended Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony in June of the previous year, shortly before reports emerged about her relationship with Belichick. It was reported that their initial encounter ended with Belichick writing a note in her college textbook, thanking her for a “course on logic.”
As rumors about Belichick’s coaching position at UNC circulated, Hudson showed her support, indicating that the couple is “overtly committed” to North Carolina.
