**Headline:** EaseMyTrip Clarifies No Association with Mahadev Betting App Following ED Raids

In a recent statement, EaseMyTrip has made it clear that it has no affiliation with the Mahadev app or any other betting platforms. This clarification comes in the wake of extensive searches conducted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at over 50 locations, including the company’s office in Gurugram. The ED’s actions are part of an ongoing investigation into alleged illegal betting operations linked to the Mahadev app.

On April 17, the company emphasized its commitment to fully cooperate with the authorities during the investigation, stating, “While EaseMyTrip has no direct or indirect association with the Mahadev Betting App or any other betting platform, we remain fully committed to cooperating with the authorities throughout the course of the investigation.”

The ED’s investigation included searches at various locations associated with EaseMyTrip founder Nishant Pitti, covering cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Indore, Jaipur, Chennai, and Sambalpur. The agency suspects that approximately ₹6,000 crore in “proceeds of crime” from the Mahadev app’s illegal operations may have been funneled to entities linked to Pitti.

The Mahadev Online Betting (MOB) app has been under scrutiny for its alleged involvement in illegal betting activities, with claims that several high-ranking politicians and bureaucrats from Chhattisgarh are implicated in the operations. The ED has previously stated that its investigation revealed a complex network facilitating illegal betting, including the creation of user accounts and money laundering through benami bank accounts.

To date, the ED has arrested 12 individuals in connection with this case and has filed four charge sheets, which include the attachment, freezing, or seizure of assets valued at ₹2,426 crore.

As the investigation unfolds, EaseMyTrip continues to assert its lack of involvement with the Mahadev app, reinforcing its dedication to transparency and compliance with legal authorities.
