**Justice in Kodanad Case Promised by Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin**

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has assured that justice will soon be served in the Kodanad murder and robbery case, following the recent verdict in the Pollachi sexual abuse case. He emphasized that justice will prevail regardless of the power held by the accused. Stalin recalled his commitment made before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections to hold the perpetrators of the Pollachi crime accountable, a promise he claims has now been fulfilled.

Stalin remarked, “Pollachi is the evidence for the atrocious governance of the AIADMK,” reiterating his previous statements that the Pollachi incident exposed the failures of the AIADMK regime under former Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS). He then shifted focus to the Kodanad case, which involved a break-in and the murder of a security guard at the estate of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in April 2017, just months after her passing. “Soon, justice will be served in the Kodanad murder and robbery case,” he stated.

The robbery occurred at the 800-acre Kodanad estate, a high-security property located in the Nilgiris. During the incident, security guard Om Bahadur was killed, and police later recovered several stolen items, including a collection of watches and a crystal rhinoceros art piece. The DMK, then in opposition, had alleged the involvement of AIADMK leaders, including EPS.

In a pointed critique of Palaniswami, Stalin accused the AIADMK General Secretary of attempting to take credit for the Pollachi verdict. “He met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and falsely claimed to have discussed the 100-day work scheme and the metro project. The public knows the truth,” he asserted.

Stalin also commended the recently launched Operation Sindoor, expressing that the DMK government has extended its support and shared insights on the initiative. “It was brilliant,” he concluded.
