**Indian Armed Forces Conduct Precision Strikes on Terror Camps**

India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh commended the armed forces for executing precision strikes on terror camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). This operation was aimed at targeting those responsible for the deaths of innocent civilians. Singh made these remarks during the inauguration of 50 infrastructure projects by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) across six states and two Union Territories, expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his unwavering support of the military during Operation Sindoor.

“The operation not only showcases our military precision but also our moral restraint. As Lord Hanuman said, ‘Jin mohi maara, tin mohi maare,’ meaning we only targeted those who harmed our innocents,” Singh stated. He emphasized that the armed forces acted with sensitivity to ensure that no civilian areas were impacted.

Singh highlighted the valor and courage displayed by the Indian forces, noting that they had created a new chapter in history with their precise and alert actions. “The targets we set were destroyed with accuracy as per our planned strategy,” he remarked, commending the army for its precision, caution, and compassion.

The Defence Minister reiterated that India exercised its ‘right to respond’ to the attacks on its territory, aiming to undermine the morale of terrorists. “Our actions were deliberate and measured, focused solely on their camps and infrastructure,” he explained.

Referring to the air and artillery strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK, Singh described the operation as a well-considered response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. “Once again, under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, our forces have delivered a firm and appropriate reply to terror training camps,” he added.

In the early hours of Wednesday, a joint operation involving the Army, Navy, and Air Force targeted nine locations across Pakistan and PoK in a coordinated effort lasting 25 minutes. The armed forces characterized their response as “measured” and “non-escalatory.”

Under Operation Sindoor, the Indian military specifically targeted key facilities associated with terrorist organizations, including the Markaz Taiba of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke and the Markaz Subhan Allah of Jaish-e-Mohammad in Bahawalpur. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri stated that these “proportionate” strikes were aimed at bringing the perpetrators of the April 22 Pahalgam attack to justice, as there had been no significant action taken against them prior.

In conclusion, the recent military operation underscores India’s commitment to national security and its resolve to confront terrorism with precision and moral responsibility.
