**Reliance Infrastructure Addresses CBI Investigation Impact on Business**

Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra) has released a statement in response to recent media coverage regarding the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) actions involving Reliance Communications (RCom) and Anil Dhirubhai Ambani. The company emphasized that these developments do not affect its business operations, financial stability, or stakeholder interests, as reported by PTI.

In two separate filings with the stock exchanges, RInfra and Reliance Power reiterated that they are distinct and independent listed entities with no business or financial ties to RCom. They clarified that Anil D. Ambani has not served on the Board of Reliance Power for over three and a half years, asserting that any actions related to RCom do not influence their governance, management, or operations.

The companies further stated that the recent CBI actions concerning RCom and Anil Ambani have no impact on their business operations, financial performance, shareholders, employees, or any other stakeholders. Currently, RCom is being managed under the supervision of a committee of creditors led by the State Bank of India (SBI) and overseen by a resolution professional.

The filing also noted that the matter is still pending before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and other judicial forums, including the Supreme Court, for the past six years. RInfra and Reliance Power expressed their commitment to focusing on their business plans and creating value for all stakeholders.

The CBI initiated searches at locations associated with RCom and Ambani’s residence following a complaint from SBI, which alleged a loss of ₹2,929.05 crore due to misappropriation of funds by Reliance Communications and Ambani. The CBI conducted a search operation at RCom’s office in Navi Mumbai on August 23, 2025, for alleged offenses under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. During the operation, officials seized several financial documents related to the company and its subsidiaries.

RInfra has stated that the search operation is not anticipated to impact its financials or operations, reiterating that RCom is undergoing a corporate insolvency resolution process and is protected under applicable laws.
