Canopy Growth disclosed a loss of $121.9 million for the third quarter, an improvement compared to the $216.8 million loss reported in the same period last year.

Canopy Growth Corp. has reported a loss of $121.9 million for its most recent quarter, a decrease from the $216.8 million loss recorded in the same quarter last year. For the quarter ending December 31, the loss equated to $1.11 per diluted share, an improvement compared to a loss of $2.62 per diluted share in the previous year.

The company’s net revenue for the third quarter reached $74.8 million, down from $78.5 million a year prior. However, when excluding businesses sold in the previous financial year, Canopy noted an eight percent increase in net revenue year-over-year. This growth was attributed to strong sales in Canadian medical cannabis, the Storz & Bickel vaporizer line, and international cannabis operations.
